This image shows an early photograph looking down the High Street in Nairn, located on the Moray Firth coastline, east of Inverness. Nairn was granted a royal charter in the twelfth century by Alexander I. There is evidence that there has been a settlement here since the Bronze Age. IDENTIFIER: QZP40_CARD_5764
