TERMS & CONDITIONS

By submitting your story to Am Baile, you agree:

• that it is your own original work and/or that you have the right to make it and any accompanying images available to The Highland Council for publication on Am Baile. Where appropriate, we recommend that you seek permission to share the stories of the people your articles are based on.

COPYRIGHT

- to allow the Highland Council:

• to copy your contribution and make any changes necessary to make them available to the public. It may be necessary to edit some work before publication.
• to allow the users of Am Baile to copy your contribution for personal or educational use.
• to copy or use your contribution for any reason associated with the management of the website, e.g. publicity, auditing or evaluation.
• and the users of Am Baile permission to use your contribution in the ways listed above throughout the world and until further notice.

There will be no charge to the Highland Council for use of your contribution and any accompanying images.

This agreement does not prevent you from allowing other people or organisations to use your story.

PRIVACY and COOKIE USE

Am Baile will never knowingly pass your information to external organisations or individuals where this information may lead to an individual being identified. Furthermore, any personal information collected by Am Baile through this website will be treated as strictly confidential in line with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. A cookie is used to remember your preferred language selection. We do not use cookies for collecting user information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of our web server.
